Going's ons

Lucky central Texans can't drive in icy weather! Cuz today we had a bad weather day, and that meant going out for lunch and shopping time...whohoo!

What I have been up to lately:

-I have discovered scrapbooking...which is already highly addictive. The little sticker kits are sooo cute. Look at those tiny little grilling tools. It also gives me something to do with all the knick knacks I save from trips, like tickets, other random things, even rocks sometime (I picked up some cool rocks in Dover, England...not that those would fit in a scrapbook, but who knows.) Anyone sticker collect back in the early 80s? Remember those scratch n' sniff stickers? Aww, those were cool. Now I can use my childhood skills of collecting crap on artistic scrapbook pages. I'm working on putting together pictures from our Chicago trip.

-finishing up the 2nd season of Scrubs.
Funny stuff!!!!

-trying to finish A Feast for Crows - which has been slow going because of work and exhaustion and all that good stuff.

and pretty much just general loafing.

We did see The Aristocrats - which has been quoted as being the "The feel good movie made out of fecal matter". This movie goes to all parts of "over there" that I never knew existed. I'm find I am still a young jedi in this realm of disgustingness. The documentary did give me some ideas though to incorporate. I don't recommend seeing this movie while eating.

The baby continues to grow and grow. We started childbirth classes. I was pretty scared after watching a video in the first one. The talks of pain and labor length have continued in subsequent classes. But I guess it's better to know what is going on that not to know, right?

Ack, school tomorrow! Boooooooooooo 8 (

hey girl, i'm glad to hear you and the baby are doing well.
we had to watch a baby birth video in sex ed class in high school. i think all us girls kept our legs crossed the rest of the day.
i know you will do great!

i love to scrapbook, too. i find myself buying all kinds of cute stickers that i have no idea what to do with. i have a friend who sells 'creative memories' products (it's like avon for the scrapbook world) and i'm always longing for the latest and greatest tools and creativity items from the catalogs. be creative and have fun!

(oh, and i loved scratch'n'sniff stickers and those puffy ones, too!)
